The TBCH have a vision to be a ministry to the lives of children and families across the world that will lead them to become whole persons in Christ through faith, hope and love.
The TBCH provides residential care across five locations, and foster care services through Caring Community Ministries. They teach Christian values throughout their organization. they are non-government funded, but rely solely on gifts from individuals and churches, as well as estate bequests, trust funds, investments and endowments.
The Tennessee Department of Child's Services partnered with the TBCH to help certify families to become foster families and care for at-risk children.
